Courses

Please visit the news page to find out about forthcoming courses and lectures.

The autumnal Explorer Course at the Charles Dickens Museum has been a great success over the past two years. Participants of the courses 'The World of Charles Dickens' and 'The Victorians' were able to explore the collection with the help of leading experts of the Victorian era. The course includes hands-on activities and personalised tutorials. Participants are also entitled to attend functions at the Museum.
Lecturers have included Professor Malcolm Andrews, Anthony Burton Professor Andrew Sanders, Judith Flanders, Dr. Elizabeth James, Dr. Leon Litvack, Professor Leonee Ormond, Dr. Paul Schlicke, Florian Schweizer, Professor Michael Slater, Dr. Tony Williams and Andrew Xavier.

The MA in Victorian Studies at both Birkbeck College in London and the University of Canterbury in Kent are two excellent courses for those who wish to study the Victorian era in greater depth.
