If you are looking for a Victorian location
for a film shoot, a dignified setting for an interview or if you
are shooting a film about Charles Dickens - the Charles Dickens
Museum is the ideal location for you.
The Museum has been used as a set for
many different productions, ranging from interior design programmes
with Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen to interviews for University Challenge.
The splendid reconstructed Drawing Room, the refurbished Morning
Room and the atmospheric library offer unique backgrounds for
period productions in an historic building.
Dickens-related productions benefit from the Museum's scholarly
expertise and its important Dickensian collection with over
10.000 images. The staff are happy to give interviews and act
as consultants.
Recent productions companies to have used the Museum include
MGM and the BBC.
