The autumnal series of lectures 'Explorer Course' at the Charles Dickens Museum has been a very good success over the past two years. Participants of the courses 'The World of Charles Dickens' and 'The Victorians' were able to explore the collection with the help of leading experts of the Victorian era. The lectures includes hand-on activities and personalised tutorials. Participants of the whole course are also entitled to attend functions at the Museum.
Lecturers include Professor Malcolm Andrews, Anthony Burton Professor Andrew Sanders, Judith Flanders, Dr. Elizabeth James, Dr. Leon Litvack, Professor Leonee Ormond, Dr. Paul Schlicke, Professor Michael Slater, Dr. Tony Williams, Andrew Xavier.

The MA Victorian Studies at Birkbeck College in London and the MA Victorian Studies at the University of Canterbury are two excellent academic courses for those who wish to study the Victorian era in depth.
