The Charles Dickens Museum holds the world's most important Dickens collection with over 100,000 items.

Manuscripts, rare editions, personal items, paintings and other visual sources as well as a research library are among the highlights of the Museum’s holdings. We offer a range of resources you can access online. For extended research it is possible to use the Library by appointment.
