Your visit

After the completion of the Great Expectations refurbishment project the Museum is now open.

The Museum is open Monday to Sunday from 10am until 5pm.

Last admission is at 4pm.

We hold pre-booked Costumed Tours on the third Saturday of the month, for this reason the Museum will open for general admission at 12:30pm on these days.

Due to safety concerns we apologise that we are not able to allow large bags or suitcases to be held at the Museum during your visit.

PLEASE NOTE:  All visits by groups of 10 people or more must be booked via our group booking system here.

 Admission Prices from December 2012

Adult:  £8.00

Concession:  £6.00

Child 6-16 years:  £4.00

Children under 6 years:  Free
